Increased rates for on- and off- street parking

The Agence de mobilité durable will begin enforcing new parking rates on February 21, 2022. The Montréal city council adopted these below-inflation rate increases on January 24, 2022. Paris installs first noise radar

System promises to issue tickets automatically in attempt to address sound pollution in the city.

Paris has switched on its first noise radar as part of a plan to fine loud motorcycles and other vehicles in one of Europe’s noisiest cities.

The machine placed high on a street lamp-post in the 20th district in eastern Paris is able to measure the noise level of moving vehicles and to identify their licence plate.

London launches new electric buses on line 63

Exo receives its first delivery of new train cars

Exo, the public transit network serving the North and South Shores of Montréal, is about to receive the first two units from a total order of 44 new train cars. These cars will modernize the rolling stock on the exo network and enhance the experience of customers by providing quality and comfort considered state of the art in the rail transportation sector.

The cars in question will be delivered in the coming days to the Pointe-Saint-Charles maintenance centre. Over the coming weeks, they will undergo minor finishing work and assessment. In the months to come, the cars will be subject to a series of tests before they are put into service. The cars will officially be revealed to the public in early spring when health measures allow it.

SuperVia and the Public Ministry sign a new stage of the TAC for accessibility

We signed today with the Public Ministry, the "Termo de Ajustamento de Conduta (TAC)" that will guarantee the implementation of accessibility in all stations of the railway system. The TAC includes a schedule for the preparation of projects and execution of works approved by the Public Ministry.

The first stage of the project will include a set of stations responsible for serving 70% of the passengers who use our trains daily. The agreement also includes a project to adapt the 20 trains in the fleet, which are the responsibility of SuperVia, until December 2023. 1000th electric bus hits the streets of Moscow

Moscow has proven the European and Americanleadership position in the number of electric buses in the city. Today Moscow has launched the 1000th e-bus. This electric bus has become the 400th vehicle purchased with the funds from the green bonds. The goal of the project is to show how such collaborations can help to make the city eco-friendlier as well as to draw attention to the environmental protection. Therefore, the design of the 1000th electric bus is special, in eco-style: the electric bus cabin is decorated with posters with the facts about electric buses and their impact on the eco-system.

Electric buses were launched in Moscow more than 3 years ago, in 2018. In the meantime, this innovative surface transport has proved its efficiency. The transport has been launched on 66 bus routes, run 60million kilometers, and carried more than 150 million passengers. Moreover, Moscow is now actively developing charging infrastructure. Nowadays there are more than 168 charging structures in the city. By the end of 2023 this number will increase up to 500 stations.

BVG to roll out another 90 e-buses

City of Rio de Janeiro receives first Enel X electric bus
